AGUA
Imprevisible, rebelde, libre… el agua me reta a menudo. Me propone nuevos caminos por los que siento que ando un poco a tientas. Con el lápiz me agarro a tierra firme. El dibujo, la descripción y el detalle, la realidad, son la base y punto de partida de mi trabajo.
Siempre me ha gustado que me contaran historias y, durante un rato, llegaran a convencerme de que formaba parte de ellas. Eso es lo que busco conseguir con mis ilustraciones, y creo que el primer paso para ello es conocer bien a los personajes y lograr que sean reales para mí. Intento moldearlos, darle a la ficción una forma concreta, intentar imaginarla como si se tratara de un recuerdo.
Así que, ante esa tendencia a lo sólido, a reproducir una escena fiel a como la imagino, viene muy bien que de vez en cuando el agua se lleve parte del castillo y me haga construir sobre sus ruinas.
WATER
Unforeseeable, rebel, free… water challenges me often. It proposes new ways where I feel I quite grope. With the pencil, I grab on mainland. Drawing, the description and detail, reality, are the base and origin of my work.
I have always liked being told stories and, for a while, being convinced that I was part of them. That’s what I try to achieve with my illustrations, and I think that the first step for that is to get to know the characters well and make them real for me. I try to model them, to give fiction a concrete shape, to try to imagine it as if it was a memory.
So, against this trend to the solid, to reproduce a scene exactly as I imagine it, it is very appropriate that, from time to time, water carries away part of the castle and makes me build on its ruins.

Cuando la poesía aparece, el dibujo se suaviza, el color nace desde los rincones más emocionales del artista, la dibujante deja su alma hablar por ella y la magia nace. Sentir y, sobre todo saber sentir, es el verdadero arte de la vida.
